THE Brighton Junior Cricket Club is delighted that its under-17 team are premiers for the 2010/11 cricket season.
Going into the match Brighton and Clarence had a record of each winning two games during the season against each other, so it was always going to be a fantastic match.

Clarence won the toss and decided to bat and got a great score of 137. The Brighton side didn’t have much success through the season chasing a score but to the team’s credit and patience it all worked very well, however very tense as, the winning runs came in the second last over.
All boys were very excited to get the win, as well as their coach, Mick Williams and his assistant Dale Foster . The team was presented with its medallions and premiership trophy by Cricket Tasmania.
