		<description>Apart from the fact that Pontville Detention Centre is mandatory detention, the centre gave many extraordinary positive opportunities to many people, myself  included. Among a lot of things, lasting friendships have been formed with courageous, inspirational men and experiences shared that will never be forgotten.

Thank you Mayor Tony Foster for the compassion and leadership you have shown throughout this process ensuring that asylum seekers are welcome in Tasmania.</description>
